Brief introduction of rolling noise detection technology for INA needle roller bearings



Since the bearing parts inevitably have some geometrical errors during processing, this causes the bearings to transmit fine noise during operation.
    The source of the rolling sound is caused by the natural vibration of the ferrule after the load. Due to the elastic contact of the ferrule and the rolling body, a nonlinear vibration system is formed. When the lubrication or machining accuracy is not high, the natural vibration associated with this elastic characteristic is excited, and when it is transmitted to the air, it becomes noise. It is well known that even if the needle roller bearing parts are processed by the highest modern manufacturing technology, there will always be a small geometric error in the working surface, so that small fluctuations between the raceway and the rolling body stimulate the natural vibration of the vibration system.
1. Oil film resistance diagnosis technology
Features: The same criteria can be used for different working conditions. It has a poor diagnostic effect on abnormalities such as surface peeling, indentation, and cracks.
Application range: Suitable for occasions where the rotating shaft is exposed.
2. Vibration diagnosis technology
Features: Vibration diagnostic technology is widely used; online monitoring can be realized; diagnosis is fast, and diagnostic theory is mature.
Scope of application: Particularly suitable for fault monitoring of INA bearings in rotating machinery.
3. Ferrography diagnostic technology
Features: The machine does not need to be disassembled; the investment is low, the effect is good; the early fatigue failure of the needle roller bearing can be found; the wear mechanism can be studied.
Scope of application: It is suitable for fault diagnosis of INA bearings lubricated with lubricating oil, which is difficult for bearings lubricated with grease.
4. Temperature diagnostic technology
Features: Simple diagnosis; better judgment on bearing burns.
Application: Suitable for simple routine diagnosis of needle bearings in machines.
5. Optical fiber monitoring and diagnosis technology
Features: The fiber displacement sensor has high sensitivity; the signal is directly extracted from the INA bearing surface, which improves the signal-to-noise ratio; it can directly reflect the manufacturing quality, surface wear degree, load, lubrication and clearance of the bearing.
Applications: Suitable for machines where the sensor can be mounted in a housing.
